On a night that announced a new identity for a fantastic association, we were immensely proud for our Moat’s Corner project to be awarded New House over $3M Construction Cost, the Past Presidents Prize and Building Design of the Year at the 2019 Design Matters celebration.

‘Moat’s Corner is a beautiful, timeless structure which demonstrates what can be achieved at the height of building design.’Design Matters Awarded magazine

Moat’s Corner received a prestigious Good Design Award Winner Accolade in the Architectural Design category in recognition for outstanding design and innovation.

The Good Design Awards Jury praised Moat’s Corner commenting: “A thoughtfully designed home with a great deal of architectural finesse that sets it above the norm. The modernist architectural style and light-filled rooms deliver a very high quality internal environment that sits in the rural environment beautifully. This modernist inspired house is carefully designed to engage with its garden at every opportunity.”

Playing into the pool house style was the design for the guest retreat. The space sits at its own level while maintaining direct access from the lower storey. A recreational deck wraps the glazed walls which view back through the pool in one direction and across the tree tops in the other. Complete with veneer robe and a walk around ensuite, it’s the ideal retreat for guests.
